Great to see them all and hear the continuing saga although it's mostly gloom and doom.
Saturday Night
I took my chardonnay socialist sister to the Long Room to see the Hawks famous victory over the Swans. A great night but doesn't make up for the Grand Final last year. Not by a long way.
Sunday Morning
For the first time ever I hosted a Mothers' Day brunch. I made my trusty frittata and bought black current brioche. Hil brought home-made biscuits, cheese and quince paste. Yummy.
Caspie threw a variety of items into the 'duck pond' (Albert Park Lake) and enjoyed the spectacle of his grandfather retrieving them. He followed up by falling into a drain. At first he was upset then decided it was a fun place to be. Such is the mindset of a three-year old boy.
