New Year's Evil

Today is the last day of the worst year ever. It's gotta get better tomorrow. Still 2012 was not all bad. There's been lots of good times in the last few days.

Mads & Willy are proud of their block creation

After a morning at ACMI we went to yum cha in Little Bourke Street

On Sunday morning we had a picnic at Hil's garden

In the afternoon we went to Kerford Road beach

Today it was off to Bounce Inc. for some serious trampolining

Mads in her Bounce socks ready for action

High flyer

Soft landing

Caspie needs to refuel

What did they put in this toastie?
A festive and frantic evening meal then the early fireworks at Yarra Park finished the year. Thank goodness that's over.

Melbourne Christmas

Bob Doyle spent  $2,000,000 on Christmas decorations in the City Square this year. We took Caspie along for a look. There is a maze with a large Christmas tree in the centre, numerous wooden soldiers, a nativity scene featuring the original Caspar and a gingerbread village.

One of these wise guys is Caspar
The village included Luna Park, the Arts Centre, the MCG on Grand Final Day with the Mighty Fighting Hawks going down to the Sydney Swans.

Naturally, you could buy gingerbread in the exhibition but we didn't need to. We had our own monogrammed gingerbread men.

They are beginning to look a bit the worse for wear.
